About Cedalio

Cedalio is a data platform that boosts sustainability and transparency. With us, tracing your provider’s data confidently, backing up your claims with trusted data, keeping track of your KPIs or reporting your environmental impact to your clients or regulators is easier than ever.
Cedalio is built on top of our own decentralized database backed by smart-contracts that allow users to verify, audit and own the data backing their ESG metrics. Every insertion and modification of the ESG data is stored and securely encrypted on a decentralized storage network.
Each company has a set of databases that are baked and controlled by a smart-contract that acts as the gate keeper of the ESG data. Companies own their ESG metrics data and they can provide access other companies or different actors to access it.

How it works

Cedalio is accessible through two primary channels: the Studio and the API. The Studio is designed with non-technical teams in mind, offering an intuitive interface for managing data. User can collect ESG metrics from their suppliers and share them with any relevant stakeholder.
The GraphQL API designed for developers to facilitate access and management of their decentralized databases where the ESG metrics data is securely stored. Via the API, access control can also be configured, allowing access to a any Ethereum address to any object with field granularity stored in the database.
The Database is the core of Cedalio's data infrastructure. By combining smart-contracts, decentralized storage networks (e.g IPFS) and off-chain databases we provide a secure, transparent, and immutable platform for data storage. Companies can gather data, securely store it on Cedalio and have an immutable and verifiable track record of all actions performed on it. In a nutshell, to use Cedalio, you will:

Define your data schema and we will create an database with a GraphQL API ready to use. We use a smart-contract to mange all the ACLs and track all the changes made to the information stored in our database.

Collect suppliers data using Cedalio's efficient gathering tools. Our platform simplifies the process of aggregating information from multiple suppliers, enabling them to digitally sign and verify their data. This automation ensures data authenticity and supplier accountability, significantly reducing the complexity and time involved in manual data collection

Securely store ESG or provenance data in a decentralized database, with access control rules encoded in a smart-contract and database insert and update operations securely stored on a decentralized operation log. This allows any user with the right access to review who inserted or updated any object in the database.

Gain insights into your app's data storage and usage. Share tokenized data within your supply chain to boost transparency and traceability. Our blockchain logs provide comprehensive auditability and facilitate database reconstruction when necessary.
